Dante Aragon, President

As a graduate from the University of Hawaii with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Dante started his career as a Nuclear Engineer. He has over 18 years in Engineering Management, Design and Development, Project Management and Facility Operations. Throughout his career, Dante has been a prominent advocate for energy and water conservation projects and products. As Managing Member of EMCC, his focus is to help lead Hawaii into a sustainable place, reduce its dependency on fossil fuel and ultimately preserve our precious environment.

Dante earned the “Energy Efficiency Award” for commercial properties from Hawaiian Electric Company in 1999, 2002, 2004 and 2006 for implementing energy efficiency projects and programs. These projects received over $750,000 in rebates from HECO. Throughout his career with the hotel properties, it is estimated that the energy savings due to projects he implemented have totaled approximately $15M.

David K. Hayashi, Vice President Lighting

With over 10 years expertise, David is no stranger to the Lighting Industry. He is responsible in developing, managing, budgeting and implementing daily operations for all construction projects pertinent to the lighting division of EMCC Hawaii.

Chun Hui Chen, Project Executive

Chun manages the Recycling Program for EMCC. In addition, she supports our Lighting Division by conducting energy audits, lighting specifications, material procurement and project implementation.
